Summer Schools - Séjours courts

Chaque année, les universités partenaires de l'IAE Toulouse proposent des programmes "Summer Schools" aux étudiants :
Les "Summer Schools" sont des séjours courts organisés par nos universités partenaires en juin, juillet et août. Ils sont ouverts aux étudiants de la L1 jusqu'au M2, la langue d'enseignement est principalement l'anglais. 
Une Summer School est une excellente façon d'approfondir vos connaissances dans un domaine particulier ou de découvrir un sujet qui vous interesse, une opportunité de recevoir les enseignements de professeurs internationaux, de découvrir des pédagogies différentes, dans des petits groupes ou l'interculturalité est de mise.

Les Summer Schools représentent une chance unique de faire partie d'une classe internationale et tout en étudiant dans un nouveau pays et au sein d'une nouvelle culture. En plus de vos études, les Summer Schools vous proposent des activités sociales et culturelles en dehors des cours, où vous pouvez rencontrer d'autres étudiants et profiter de la vie culturell de la ville que vous choisirez.

"Fashion Management"

"Europe Inside Out"

Accomodation: You be will hosted in Irish College: 55€ per night.

During this 14-day residential course jointly offered by the Faculties of Arts, Economics & Business and Social Sciences you combine two majors, chosen from a list of four: Doing Business with Europe(ans); Policies & Politics in the EU; Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Europe; and Social & Demographic Issues. The course includes visits to Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges and Luxemburg. "European Challenges" 
Course dates: 18th to the 26th of August 2017
Entry requirements: Aimed at bachelor students (L1, L2 and L3)
Language requirements: Courses taught in English
Cost: 875€ for students coming from partner universities (includes: accomodation, courses and course materials, cultural activities, breakfast, lunch and dinner.)

The options aims to provide a tailored analysis of “Entrepreneurship and Technology”,  “Economics and Finance”, “International Business( Advanced)” or "Business Law" with half the course being given on the specific topics. It develops students’ grasp of business, economics and policy issues and especially their interactions. The program features classes, trips and activities designed to give students opportunities to learn about the business challenges across the European Union. The broad topic is called the European Challenges.  During our summer school you will be attending lectures given by internationally recognized professors and researchers from different backgrounds, while getting a taste of what the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management is about. This summer institute offers you the best opportunity to visit the capital of Europe and learn a bit more about the Belgian culture. You will be guided by the local students who will show you the must-see places of Brussels.

Danemark


"Courses in business, innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing and finance"
Between the 26th of June - 28th of July Exam period: 31st of July - 4th of August (please see website for specific course timetables)
Prerequisites:
Bachelor and Master courses available. You must be officially nominated by IAE in order to participate as an exchange student.
Language Requirements: No proof of language test is required, however in order to succeed in the course and pass the exams a B2 level is strongly advised.

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is internationally accredited and a leading European business school. The International Summer University Programme is one of the world's longest running and largest summer schools. In 2017 ISUP will offer approx. 45 courses taught in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels. They will cover a wide range of classic business courses as well as more diverse, innovative and entrepreneurial courses, which draw on other academic disciplines.

Copenhagen Business School

Cost: Fees are waived for students from partner universities.
Accomodation: AU offers two types of accomodation: students residences or shared houses. Rent includes heating, electricity, internet and bed linen. You will have access to a kicthen but meals are not included. Prices for 1 month vary between 452€- 804€ depending on the month and the type of accomodation you choose. You can also find your own accomodation.

The programme at AU Summer University consist of a broad variety of courses, taught in English at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, within the fields of: Arts, Business and Economics, Business Communication, Political Science and Law, Health, Science and Technology. AU Summer University welcomes Danish and international full-time students, exchange students and free movers. "Social Enterprises: Using your Creativity and Sensitivity"/"Information and Knowledge Management in Digital Environment"

Social Enterprises: The aim of this course is to introduce the method of social entrepreneurship that combines sustainable business models with social innovation and vocational rehabilitation. Social enterprises are combining modern rehabilitation and social services with sustainable business models. Especially in middle and low income countries, where social expenditures are very limited, social enterprises can play a very important role in social innovation. Our Summer School course provides an insight for participants into the world of Estonian Social Enterprises highlighting the latest developements in the field.

Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) focuses on the effective gathering, organisation, storage, creating and sharing of information and knwoledge within an organisation to enhance organsational performance in a digital world. Students will develop knowledge and understanding of basic concepts related to IKM, and an understanding of the strategic value of information and knowledge as intangible assets of an organisation.

Norway NHH 

"Natural Resource Management and policy: the norwegian model" - For Masters students only

Learn how to manage natural resources from experts in the field. Natural Resource Management and policy: The Norwegian Model is a summer course open for MBA or MSC students from NHH partner schools.
The programme has been developed and organised by NHH faculty in partnership with a range of companies active in the industries examined on the course. Company visits and case studies form a major part of the course schedule.

 "Marketing Skills for the 21st Century" 

"We're in a 21st century, transparent and connected world"- Guler Sabanci. The now nearly global availability of the internet and heightened connectivity in general are fundamentally changing the way we do, grow and promote business. This cours aims to give an overview of the trends and challenges in (international) marketing, to equip students with both the skills and knowledge to market products in the scattered and complex 21st century marketing landscape. In this course, students will learn about topics such as crowd funding and crowd-sourcing; different social media strategies; visual story telling; viral and guerrilla marketing and the use of big data for marketing purposes in relation to small entrepreneurship. All these new marketing tools and techniques are positioned against the background of 21st century trends and megatrends and focus on a different approach to business, such as "giving back to society", sustainability, anti- consumerism, local communities, glocalization, and increased transparency and total connectivity

JAMK University of Applied Sciences arranges an International Summer School every year in May – June. "From Local Knowledge to Global Business"

This 2-week course taught in English offers a combination of specialised topics related to trade, entrepreneurship and international cooperation from the perspective of a developing country. Students will examine conceptual questions applied to practical cases in a real-world dimension, with the objective of designing adequate strategies for the international business environment. Participants will study in a unique archeological and historical setting, have a truly intercultural experience and earn 3 academic credits. The program combines seminars, as well as visits to local businesses related to the textile industry, gastronomy and tourism and hospitality management.

People are the key resources in organisations and good leadership may help to mobilise, guide and inspire their actions. Leadership is about lifting people’s vision to high goals, raising their own performance and their contribution to organisational performance. This course provides students with knowledge on how people behave in organisations and the role of leadership in contemporary organisations. The course offers an interdisciplinary perspective and provides students with insights into international state-of –the-art theories of organisational behaviour and leadership, and practical cases and examples of Swedish and international firms.
