" Excellence in research is one of the main objectives of IAE. To fulfill that objective, it aims at offering a stimulating research environment. The Center for Research in Management, which is affiliated to the CNRS, is organized around five main themes: accounting-audit, finance, human resource management, marketing and strategy. The doctoral school of management, the only one in the Toulouse area to offer a PhD program in management, allows students to conduct their research under the most favorable conditions and to benefit from the supervision of academics from the entire Toulouse University network.

To promote research, IAE has developed an active partnership strategy: IAE works in close connection with the Toulouse School of Economics to recruit faculty, and to develop new research areas at the frontier between economics and management. IAE and Toulouse Business School have been collaborating actively since 2006 on the PhD program in management.

Finally, IAE has a successful visiting program that allows faculty from prestigious academic institutions to contribute to the training of our PhD students and to develop new research with our faculty. "
