The Master in International Management (MIM) is a full-time postgraduate programme, entirely taught in English, designed for International and French university graduates. It gives students up-to-date theoretical insights in relation to practical experience in an intellectually stimulating environment. The MIM provides companies with managers ready to deal with cross-cultural management situations and transnational business issues. Classes are small and the work is intense. The programme stresses the importance Of working methods such as case studies, team work and readings, to which students are required to participate actively. The MIM is a two year programme (four semesters) and equals 120 credits in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
Students willing to pursue a career in research can follow specific courses (in the second year) and enrol in a doctoral thesis if accepted.
Since the establishment of this Master programme, students from more than 30 nationalities have graduated and constitute a vivid network of alumni.
Le Master de Gestion mention Management International est une formation enseignée entièrement en anglais, qui prépare les étudiants à l’exercice des fonctions d’encadrement et à la prise de responsabilité en entreprise. Il apporte aux étudiants des compétences managériales et leur permet de s’orienter et de construire progressivement un projet professionnel ou de recherche dans un contexte international.

First year (M1)
• Access to the first year of the programme (M1) is open to : Students holding a French Licence (3-year degree) or a foreign equivalent worth 180
A 3 months traineeship has to be completed along with a report. Students opting for a research career have the possibility to write an academic working paper instead.
Certification EPAS
The Master in International Management of IAE Toulouse is now part of the small number of programmes that have been accredited within the EPAS system, therefore recognized as a high quality programme.
EPAS is an international programme accreditation system operated by EFMD, the main European agency for strategic audit and accrediation, which also delivers the EQUIS label. More information on www.efmd.org
Access to the second year of the programme (M2) is open to
Students holding a French M1 (4-year degree) or a foreign equivalent worth 240 credits (ECTS). Students entering the second year directly must provide us with GMAT or TAGE/MAGE scores. The Admission Committee looks at each application individually and selection is based on academic results, English proficiency (test scores required) and personal and professional experiences.
From January to the end of March, teams of students are assigned consultancy missions for companies on a part-time basis (market research, process and organisational analysis, …) through in-company sponsored projects. This work allows the students to implement the programme into real life business situations.
From April onwards, students have to find a position in France or abroad as a trainee in a company during 6 months.
In the second year of the Master (M2), students can choose to follow a research track. In this case, they will not attend the courses in “International Human Resources Management”, “Comparative Accounting and Auditing” and “International Finance”. Instead, they will follow three courses in French “Protocole de recherche”, “Méthode de recherche” and “Théorie des organisations”. Furthermore, these students will not complete the traineeship but will have to write a Master’s dissertation.
The subsequent enrolment in a doctoral thesis (3-year degree) is submitted to :
• the successful completion of the research courses • the validation of the doctoral project by a supervising professor

The Master programme benefits from the exceptional scientific environment of the University of Toulouse, renowned for its faculty of law, political sciences and the internationnally recognised Toulouse School of Economics. The research in management is organised within the Centre de Recherche en Management (CRM - CNRS affiliated research laboratory - 5032), whose seminars and conferences are fully integrated into the programme.
