The MIM is a two-year post-graduate Bologna Master programme offered by the University of Toulouse Graduate School of Management (IAE Toulouse). It is a full-time degree, entirely taught in English, designed for International and French university graduates. The programme provides companies with managers ready to deal with cross-cultural management situations and transnational business issues. It is highly selective and targets students with a strong motivation to work in an international environment and ready to develop the competences needed by intercultural businesses. The programme stresses the importance of working methods such as case studies, team work and readings, to which students are required to participate actively. The MIM is a two year programme (four semesters) and equals 120 credits in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). First year students have the opportunity to spend a year in one of our 65 partner universities (America, Asia, Europe).
In Master 2, from October to January, students attend courses (see programme).
From April onwards, students have to find a position in France or abroad as a trainee in a company during 6 months.
In the second year of the Master (M2), students may opt for the research track. In this case, they will follow three courses in French: “Protocole de recherche”, “Méthode de recherche” and “Théorie des organisations” instead of “International Human Resources Management”, “Comparative Accounting and Auditing” and “International Finance”. These students will have to write a Master’s dissertation instead of completing a traineeship. Access to the doctoral programme depends on successful completion of the research courses and validation of the doctoral project by a supervising professor.
In order to validate your Master 2 year you must complete a 6 months compulsory internship and write an internship report.
Students opting for a research career have the possibility to write an academic working paper instead.
