What are the requirements to be eligible for the Master in International Management (MIM)?

The MIM is a two year post graduate degree. Students have two options for entering the programme :

Those holding a French Licence or a foreign equivalent or 180 credits of the European Credit Transfer system (ECTS) may join the first year ; they need to be proficient in English as courses are entirely taught in both languages.

Those holding a French Maîtrise or a foreign equivalent(4 y. BA or professional experience) or 240 ECTS have the opportunity to apply for the second year of the programme (M2)

In BOTH cases, the Admissions Committee mainly considers the following factors: GMAT/TAGE-MAGE (for students entering directly in M2), depth and breadth of work and/or international experience, language proficiency in English, GPA/academic records and the required letter of motivation. These factors are not listed in order of importance. The Admissions Committee looks at each candidate individually. Their goal is to gather a class of students who will bring a different outlook to the learning environment.

When is the deadline to register?

Student may download the application forms from the IAE site, where the deadline to register will also be indicated: http://www.iae-toulouse.fr

How do I take the TAGE-MAGE or the GMAT?

The TAGE-MAGE or the GMAT are compulsory to apply directly in M2. The TAGE-MAGE and the GMAT are tests that measure the student’s capacity to follow advanced management courses.
The choice of presenting either the TAGE-MAGE or the GMAT belongs to the candidate. It is the student’s responsibility to take the test early enough in order to include the results.

The TAGE-MAGE

It is administered in FRENCH.
Candidates must sign up for the test with the FNEGE (Fondation Nationale pour l’Enseignement de la Gestion des Entreprises). It can only be taken once in a calendar year.
The FNEGE organizes a test session for the Tage-Mage at IAE Toulouse. Other dates will be offered in Paris, Rennes, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lyon.

We strongly advise you to consult the http://www.tagemage.com/ or http://www.tagemage.net/ sites regularly in order to obtain up-to-date information on the calendar offered by the FNEGE, as well as a sample of previous exams. Registration and payment for the test can be made on-line: http://www.tagemage.net/.
Test results remain valid for 1 year.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

It is administered in ENGLISH. Candidates must register for this test, which is administered at many centres in France and throughout the world. Information on the GMAT may be obtained at the American Embassy and Consulates and at the Franco-American Commission, 9 rue Chardin, 75016 Paris. Although IAE Toulouse does not observe a strict minimum, admission with score below 550 is unlikely.
